Kansas City’s Chuck Evans is scheduled to appear as a guest instructor next week on Golf Channel’s Morning Drive October 27-28. The popular daily morning show airs from 7-9 a.m. Eastern.

Joining Golf Channel Academy is the latest honor for Evans, who is ranked among GOLF Magazine’s Top 100 Teachers in America and is also a Golf Range Association of America (GRAA) Top 50 Growth of the Game Teaching Professional. Owner of the Chuck Evans Golf Academy at Tiffany Greens Golf Club in Kansas City, Evans is affiliated with Golf Channel Academy (GCA), a dedicated network of teaching facilities operating with the active support of Golf Channel, the game’s leading global multimedia and golf entertainment source.

Prior to opening his academy at Tiffany Greens Golf Club, in Kansas City MO, Evans operated out of Gold Canyon Golf Resort in Gold Canyon, Ariz., where he was recognized as one of Golf Digest magazine’s “Best in State.”

Select Golf Channel Academy teachers are being invited to appear on the network’s news and instruction shows, including The Golf Fix and School of Golf; Evans is one of the first to be so honored.

“I’m thrilled to be appearing on Morning Drive,” Evans said. “Being part of Golf Channel Academy has tremendous benefits for my students. And it’s exciting that it provides me with an opportunity to appear on some of Golf Channel’s most popular programs.”

As a Golf Channel Academy coach, Evans continues to teach the way he knows best. The underlying philosophy of Golf Channel Academy is that the best golf “teaching” is done through “coaching” — that is, an on-going relationship between player and teacher devoted to long-lasting improvement.
