Tour Edge Golf introduced the new Exotics irons; EXd, EXi, and CB PRO Tungsten, each specifically designed with technology to make your game better.

The EXd irons feature the largest free standing face with the deepest undercut cavity manufactured by Exotics. The unsupported face is extremely hot and able to flex more at impact for added distance. Engineers developed an advanced Variable Face Thickness (VFT) design that produces greater spring effect and forgiveness on more areas of the face.

The irons feature a generous offset design for added forgiveness helping players return to square at impact. The long irons (3, 4, 5, 6) have stronger lofts with a low center of gravity.

Similar to the Exotics E8 irons, two sizable high-density tungsten weights are positioned in the heel and toe increasing the moment of inertia (MOI) and stabilizing the club head even on ball strikes off of the sweet spot.  A soft thermoplastic elastomers (TPE) encased insert within the cavity provides a softer, responsive feel at impact.

Exotics EXi irons feature a more traditional shape with less offset. The combination of a dual undercut cavity for a deeper center of gravity and the new sole slot achieves a very thin sole behind the face which can deliver added distance by allowing the face to flex at impact.

The soft TPE encased insert in the cavity provides players with a softer feel at impact. The super thin face with an advanced new VFT design produces greater spring effect and solid contact even on off-center hits.

The CB PRO Tungsten irons are the most technologically advanced Exotics iron ever, combining hollow construction with progressive tungsten sole weighting designed for players seeking forgiveness, control and distance. The hollow design necessitates a solid tungsten sole for optimal weighting and to support the super thin face. The long irons are also available individually; CB PRO Tungsten utility irons are designed for players wanting easy to hit, long distance shots.

Each CB PRO Tungsten iron, 2-AW, is hollow from the top line all the way to the sole producing a more active face. To accommodate the hollow design, the top line is thicker, but the progressive set allows players to shape shots. Exotics hollow irons greatly expand the sweet spot so it consistently feels like a clean strike.

CB PRO Tungsten irons feature a heavy, solid piece of W-Ni tungsten in the sole, heavier in the short irons and progressively moving through the set (3-9) varying in weight. The weighty sole lowers the CG for easier launch conditions. The CB PRO Tungsten irons feature the same low CG of their predecessors, the CB PROh, without the wide sole.

The super-thin, high-strength stainless steel face features advanced VFT for superior shot results, even on off-center hits. The areas surrounding the center of the face are thinner ensuring superior results from more areas of the face. touredge.com
