John Glozek’s Top 10 Golf Business “Musts” (excerpted from “Business Golf”)
You must…
- Determine what you are trying to accomplish with the round of business golf.
- Carefully decide whom to play with.
- Always arrive early (before your guests), and be prepared.
- Be focused on the business at hand, not your score.
- Play from the appropriate tees for your skill.
- Establish the rules of the day (have fun is a good one) before the first ball is hit.
- Keep play moving. Keep up with the group in front of you — don’t be directly in front of the group behind you.
- Pick-up your ball when you’ve made double par and the ball is not in the hole.
- Never throw your clubs.
- Follow-up, follow-up, follow-up
Now it’s time for you to go out and use golf as a tool to enhance and grow your business. Whether it be at Pebble Beach, Augusta National or whatever course you may have access to, take the business golf plunge. It’s profitable and fun!
