The Dave Pelz Scoring Game School and its renowned one-day golf clinics will be coming to Hartefeld National Golf Club in Kennett Square, Pennsylvania (June 7 – 10). Each of the clinics are available to the public as well as Hartefeld National members.
Hartefeld National is a private, Tom Fazio-designed course situated in picturesque Chester County outside Philadelphia. The course opened in 1995 and has hosted Senior PGA Tournaments as well as a limited-field PGA Tour event hosted by Jim Furyk.
“We are extremely excited to be back in the Philadelphia area and bring our Scoring Game School to a course of the caliber of Hartefeld National,” said Pelz. “The club has a national reputation and a membership that has a passion for golf. I am happy the club is affording other players from the area the opportunity to come there for a day and enjoy their outstanding facility.”
Pelz is recognized as the premier short game guru in the world. Each of the one-day clinics are operated by Pelz’s hand-picked golf instructors. More than just a mere golf lesson, Dave Pelz Scoring Game Clinics teach pitching, chipping, putting and bunker-play skills in a fun, six-hour format. There is emphasis on the mental side of scoring as well as mechanical fundamentals.
A three-hour wedge session focuses on all the important shots played around the greens. After lunch, a three-hour putting session teaches players how to sink more putts by improving the putter path, face angle, set up and sweet-spot impact.
There is a six to one student-to-teacher ratio for all classes with a maximum class size of 18. For more information about the Dave Pelz Scoring Game School, visit the website at pelzgolf.com or call 800-833-7370.
